Welcome To Georgia

"We have also received an inheritance in Christ. We were destined by the plan of God, who accomplishes everything according to His design."

Ephesians 1:11

In Sept of 2019 I took a leap of faith and trust and closed my nail studio that I had owned for 10 years in Northern California and moved to the beautiful area of North Georgia to be with my amazing, supportive wonderful fiancé, now husband. My intention was to open another studio here and have another nail business right away. Well, as we all know, 2020 had other ideas. But like the verse says, God accomplishes everything according to His design. I took a job with the local Post Office to not only learn my new area but also feel productive and get back to working. During this time, I had been waiting on Georgia to transfer my license from Ca to here. It was a long, arduous process to say the least. I can say though, that while I was with the PO, I learned more than I bargained for but also met some amazing people who have become both clients and friends.

It's always been said that if you want to know someone's life just ask their manicurist or hairdresser. But what really comes with that is the trust and the relationship that is built with our clients. I feel honored that strangers come in my door and have a seat for an hour or longer and leave a new friend, and maybe have had a moment to let go of some stress. We grow with our clients, and sometimes their children. We are there during dating, marriages, divorces, family issues, holidays, good times, bad times, and so much more. We are a sounding board, a shoulder to cry on, and a lot of times an extra person to be silly with and share laughter.

Now fast forward to May 2022, Georgia has FINALLY accepted my transfer, I start taking clients in my home until I was able to get into a space and that's when I come across The Beauty Bar, in Tate. In less than 48 hours I am messaging Jennifer, the owner, setting up a meeting and then visiting the space. Little did I know that Tate was not only needing a manicurist, but both Jennifer and Ellen, owner of Station 53, next door, were actively looking for one, lol. Again, God's plan will not be interrupted. It is the perfect fit! And I'm back to doing not just nails and pedicures, but also now lashes, but being able to have that connection I mentioned above with a community and giving people an hour or so of happiness and relaxation. I truly love what I do. And my new town and those around me have welcomed me with open arms and have been so supportive while I build new again!

And when I’m not in my studio, I'm just as busy doing so many other things! I have a small batch bath and body products company I started during the pandemic called Paisley and Faith. They are the same products I use in my studio for my manicures and pedicures. I will be adding them for sale soon to both my clients as well as online!

I also love being outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking or at a country concert. I am married to an incredibly wonderful and supportive husband. We are dog parents to an adorable American bulldog who we spoil beyond belief. I love cooking, sewing, crafting, and looking at ways to grow and build businesses. I'm active at my church and love connecting with new people! I look forward to getting to know you, thank you for your time!
